Who's this guy?

Hi there!

The “meet the crew” section of the page already went over a little bit of who I am and what my background is, but I figured a blog post would be a great opportunity to let you know a bit more!

I have many leather-bound books.

I’m suspicious of Guinness, apparently.

I originally hail from Chicago-right-outside-Chicago, but I’ve lived in Florida long enough to be called a native (20 years? …Damn).

I went to UCF (Go Knights!) and got a couple of degrees, and started my own video production company.

That was about 10 years ago, and my company is growing steadily, which I am always excited about.

I’ve always been a huge fan of board and card games. I’m always hosting games nights and we always end up playing well into the morning trying to squeeze one more “30-1hr playtime” game into 20 minutes.

As the main site suggests, I’m a huge fan of “King of Tokyo” and “Bang”, though my list of favorites goes waaaay past those two.

Fish N ships isn’t my first game idea, but it IS the first one I want my new company (Working title “Goodfellow Games Co.”) to publish, due to the fact that it is the simplest.

I have a theory that all great games take one unique base mechanic and build on top of it to form a more nuanced experience for the player. This foire into games publishing will test that theory out!

What else…oh! I own a big fluffy cat named Luna and I’m getting married in October of this year (2019)! Some might say I should reorganize those two points to put one more prominently, but I already made my decision. Its published now! No going back!

Thanks for reading! Next time I’ll post some dev notes, so you can see the guts of the game a bit more!
